Meet Master David Ross , head instructor of our New York City martial arts school. At 8 years old, Master David Ross picked up his first pair of boxing gloves. That was the start of a lifelong process of learning and mastering various martial arts, which he would go on to teach to New Yorkers of all ages, shapes and sizes. From boxing he progressed to the Korean martial arts of Taekwondo and Hapkido. Under the instruction of the late Sifu Pong Ki-Kim, he earned second degree black belts in both arts, and was the New York State AAU full-contact Taekwondo champion for two years. Still, he yearned to explore even more martial arts, which brought him to the Chinese styles of Lama Pai and Choy Lay Fut - which he studied under the renowned, late master Chan Tai-San. David would go on to achieve expert status in these styles as well. We are located on the 4TH floor.
